Whistl supports UK SME’s ability to access the USA market

UK logistics specialists in e-fulfilment, mail and parcels, Whistl, has launched a fast tracked service for SMEs that send over 40 items a day to the USA.

The service, typically taking an average of 6.5 days from despatch to delivery, enables access for SMEs to the UK to USA fast tracked market at a cost-effective price, typically unavailable to low volume mailers.

By upgrading to this service, UK SMEs can now offer their USA based customers an enhanced delivery service with improved item visibility on its delivery journey alongside the quicker delivery times.

The company reiterated that its operations have been unaffected by the Royal Mail cyber-attack and its international activities have continued.

The launch of the USA tracked service for SMEs is the latest initiative from Whistl International, following on from its approval by the UK Border Force and HMRC as a Customs Clearance Agent.

The company offers air, sea and road clearance for mail and parcels entering the UK from its International Gateway near Heathrow.  Through one point of contact Whistl offers its customers direct a full end to end solution from export destination to final mile delivery.

Michael Boulton, Managing Director, Whistl International, said: “Launching this service enables Whistl to support UK SME’s ability to access the USA market through a faster cost-effective service giving their clients the choice to upgrade from untracked services for a better experience, whilst at the same time offering them an Express service helping to lower their shipping costs.”

“At Whistl, we have always fought to open up the mail and parcel market and bring the benefits large volume mailers have enjoyed to those with smaller volumes, typically SMEs.”
