Posten Bring CEO steps down

Tone Wille has informed the board that during 2024 she wishes to resign as CEO of Posten Bring AS after 7 years in the position. She is leaving a growing group that has developed into a leading Nordic logistics company. Wille will continue in her position until the board has found a successor.

Tone Wille started at Posten in 2006 and became CEO in 2016. In a demanding market, the group has delivered good results and succeeded in growing more than the market in parcels from online shopping.

“We have worked long-term and purposefully. Today Posten Bring has a high level of trust in the population, satisfied customers and motivated employees. We have strengthened the service offering, invested in innovation and sustainability,” says Tone Wille.

Wille is proud of the results that have been achieved:

“We are Norway’s oldest company and have repeatedly been named the most innovative. We cut emissions in line with the Paris Agreement and in 2023 were ranked second best for sustainability in Norway by the Sustainable Brand Index. And recently Posten Bring was awarded the industry’s environmental award 2023 by NHO Logistikk og Transport.”

Wille believes Posten Bring has a good foundation for the future.

” We reorganised last year to gain more pace and implementation power in the development work. This year we have updated the strategy, set new ambitious targets and we have a robust structure and good processes which mean that the many exciting initiatives that are now underway are in safe hands,” says Wille.

After seven years as CEO and a total of 17 years at Posten Bring, Tone Wille wants to continue to be involved in the development of Norwegian and international businesses through board work.

The board starts the recruitment process

The board of Posten Bring is now starting a process for recruiting a new CEO.

“Tone Wille has done a very good job and left his mark on Posten Bring’s development. Both as CFO and CEO, she has delivered solid results in demanding times of pandemic and market turmoil. Posten Bring is today a competitive and leading Nordic logistics group and is well positioned for the future. Tone has been concerned with the people in the organization and developed the group into a Nordic business. I would like to thank Tone for her solid and good leadership,” says chairman Anne Carine Tanum.
