DHL rewards customers in 'Gift Splash'

DHL, one of Nigeria’s leading air express companies has rewarded its loyal customers with a gifts splash. More than 300 customers won over 1,000 gifts during the 2006 IDOX promotion which held between May 15th and July 31st this year. Customers included private individuals and corporate organisations drawn from diverse sectors such as banking, information technology, manufacturing, oil & gas and services. Customers went home with items such as flasks, cell phone pouches, bags, radios and flash disks.

The grand prize includes a trip for two to Italy, two return flight tickets to Rome, airport taxes, return airport/hotel transfers, hotel accommodation for seven nights and spending money to the tune of 650 dollars.

DHL was the first courier firm to offer a service transporting documents within and outside Nigeria. Despite its capabilities in covering all locations in Nigeria, the company’s unique strength lies in transporting documents to over 220 countries around the world.

The need to transport documents across the globe has remained necessary despite the advances in technology. The prevalence of computers with e-mails, fax machines, on-line banking and the Internet have not diminished the need for this service.

DHLs International Document Express Service (IDOX) has grown to become the most widely-used and effective international express service that is ideal for express international door-to-door delivery of non-dutiable items such as contracts, tenders, reports, airline tickets, passports, books etc. The core advantages that IDOX offers are its speed, convenience and reliability.

DHL, through its IDOX product is helping companies to better manage their business by ensuring the fast delivery of important business information, contracts and invoices, especially where the originals of these documents are concerned. These documents can get to most major cities of the world in a matter of days. Customers can also track their shipments and get delivery details from the Internet, email, SMS or phone.

DHLs Marketing Services Manager, Mr. Patrick Egbuchunam indicated that this is the third consecutive year that the company is running an incentive around its IDOX service.

” IDOX was the initial service that DHL offered customers after our formation in 1969 and it has remained dear to our customers even in the 21st century. We are committed to maintaining our quality and efficient service standards”.
