Talk of new buyer for Yodel
The Barclay family are trying to find a buyer for Yodel, reports Sky News.

Sky News has learnt that advisers to the Barclay family have accelerated efforts in recent days to secure new owners for Yodel, and are in talks with a number of trade bidders and potential financial buyers about a deal.

Further reports have suggested Yodel is preparing to call in administrators.

Yodel employs 10,000 staff and delivers goods for a number of retailers such as John Lewis, Argos and AO World.

The courier firm is owned by the Barclay family and one of its biggest clients is online retailer Very, which is also owned by the Barclays.
