Jersey Post completes the appointment of its Executive Team
Jersey Post has appointed Tracy Hayward as its new International Director, completing the refresh of its Executive Team, as the Group continues its successful diversification strategy. In this role Tracy will be responsible for the growth of Jersey Post’s businesses outside the UK, in addition to her existing portfolio of cross-border responsibilities.
Tracy brings a huge depth of experience and expertise to the Jersey Post management team. Prior to this role, Tracy had been responsible for successfully building Jersey Post’s cross-border business in the UK, using the experience and relationships she has developed over many years in the industry.
After an early start in programme management at Royal Mail, Tracy moved into its international business, moving rapidly to become its Senior Regional Director, responsible for its worldwide portfolio and relationships with other Posts and organisations. She was also Chair of the UPU (Universal Postal Union) Parcels Group for four years.
Tracy Hayward said: “I’m really looking forward to this new role. The global cross-border market is highly competitive. However Jersey Post has a strong reputation based on our focus on quality and customer care, which allows us to compete effectively with larger providers. Looking holistically across our businesses will mean we can offer our customers and clients a more tailored range of services more efficiently.”
Mark Siviter, CEO of Jersey Post said: “We are hugely excited that Tracy is joining our Exec team. There are few others in the industry with her depth of knowledge and expertise. While our domestic market may be small, Jersey Post punches above its weight in terms of cross-border mail, largely due to the amazing work Tracy has done in developing our international mail business. The time is right to now consolidate all our activities outside the UK under one leader, allowing better co-ordination and leveraging of our overseas capabilities to take us to the next stage in our evolution. Tracy’s appointment, following the recent appointment of Tom Wasilewski as Chief Commercial Officer, completes the refresh of our Executive team. I believe Jersey Post now has one of its strongest Executive teams in the sector.”
