Poste Italiane reorganises the top corporate governance positions

The Board of Directors of Poste Italiane S.p.A., chaired by Silvia Maria Rovere, has resolved – upon proposal by the Chief Executive Officer, Matteo Del Fante, who at the same time resigned from his position as General Manager – the re-organization of the top corporate governance positions, appointing Giuseppe Lasco, previously Co-General Manager, with immediate effect, as the new General Manager of the Company.

Giuseppe Lasco, the General Manager, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, Matteo Del Fante, is responsible for managing and co-ordinating the Group’s corporate structures.

The activities relating to BancoPosta’s Ring Fenced Capital, the insurance, savings management and payments and electronic money institutions areas still report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
