New CEO for Posti Group

The Board of Directors of Posti Group Corporation has appointed Antti Jääskeläinen, as President and CEO of Posti Group Corporation. He will start his position by the end of the summer vacation season.

Antti Jääskeläinen moves to Posti from UPM, where he has been EVP, UPM Raflatac business area and a member of the UPM Group’s Executive Team since 2016. From January 2024, he has also served as the interim EVP of the UPM Communication Papers business area. Before this, Jääskeläinen has worked in demanding leadership positions, e.g. in Amer Sports and Stora Enso.

According to Chairman of the Board of Directors, Sanna Suvanto-Harsaae, there were several strong candidates in the CEO recruitment process. Antti Jääskeläinen’s people leadership skills, strong commercial skills and previous experience in the logistics industry weighed in the selection.

“Antti’s strong commercial expertise, understanding of the logistics industry’s complex operating environment, and the skills of leading people and business successfully will benefit Posti as it continues its renewal. Posti is becoming a modern delivery and fulfillment company focusing on customer experience and having strong sustainability leadership position in its industry. I warmly welcome Antti and once again thank Turkka for his excellent work,” says Sanna Suvanto-Harsaae, Chair of the Board of Directors.

“A lot of good work has been done in Posti in recent years to develop its services and efficiency. I believe that together with all Posti employees we can continue to improve competitiveness and customer experience, becoming an increasingly modern and profitable delivery and fulfillment company. I look forward to starting my new job,” says Antti Jääskeläinen.

Posti’s current President and CEO Turkka Kuusisto leaves his position on 20 March 2024 and his employment with Posti ends by the end of April. Timo Karppinen, CFO of Posti Group, will act as an interim CEO in addition to his own duties between 21 March and the start of the new CEO.
