Austrian Post launches services to expand its e-commerce offering

In order to help online shoppers to have a successful shopping experience, Austrian Post is launching its new “AllesPost Deutschland” service. Recipients receive a German AllesPost address to which they can have their parcels sent. With the help of Austrian Post, the online order will still arrive at the Austrian home address.

“Our market research shows that almost 90 percent of domestic online shoppers have already wanted to order goods that were not available to Austria, but to Germany. To round off the entire online shopping experience, we are therefore launching AllesPost Deutschland, a new service to enable shipping to Austria flexibly and on an ad hoc basis if the desired product cannot be found in domestic shops,” explains Peter Umundum, Member of the Management Board for Parcel & Logistics, Österreichische Post AG.

The customer provides the German AllesPost address at check-out, where the parcel is taken over by a cooperation partner and then handed over to Austrian Post, which delivers it in this country just one day later. Registration for AllesPost Deutschland is free of charge. Only when ordering to the individual AllesPost Germany address will a flat rate of 7.49 euros per shipment be charged.

Interested customers can register for AllesPost Deutschland with immediate effect: post.at/allespost-deutschland

ALLESPOST GERMANY: CAN BE COMBINED WITH ALL RECEIVING OPTIONS
Parcels in Austria are always delivered by Austrian Post. From the first scan, they are displayed in the consignment tracking on post.at and in the Post App. This means that all reception options can also be used, such as dropping off or redirecting parcels, self-service stations or post office reception boxes.
