IBC Adds Electric Vehicles to the Fleet

IBC is adding several electric vehicles to their ground transportation fleet.

Starting with the New York branch, IBC added these vehicles to the line-up just this week.  We will soon be adding as many as possible to our offices in Miami, Los Angeles, Dallas and Chicago.

Whether we are picking up or dropping off cargo, these new trucks allow for a safer and faster delivery, enabling us to offer an even more reliable service.  New electric vehicles are more reliable which can lower our fleet’s maintenance downtime. These vehicles offer zero emissions and allow drivers to use special lanes making for faster and cleaner service.

Mike Bello, IBC’s Vice President of Operations, reports “Changing over to electric vehicles is a win/win for IBC.  We will cut back on emissions, reduce our carbon footprint and offer a more environmentally friendly delivery for our customers.”

Unlike larger integrators that provide a one-size-fits-all approach to global logistics, IBC has the agility to create custom solutions and quickly adapt to changing conditions.

IBC is the largest non-integrator operator of U.S. Customs and Border Protection ECCF facilities in the U.S.A. In addition to operating these facilities, the company’s other service offerings include:

  • Global E-Commerce Parcel and Packet Solutions
  • In-House Customs Brokerage
  • Logistics and Cargo Services
  • Specialty Services for Time-Sensitive Goods
