DPD Poland gets closer to its customers, providing 24/7 convenience in cities and rural areas
Continuously expanding its DPD Pickup network to meet the increasing demands for flexibility and convenience, DPD Poland has now installed more than 8,000 SwipBox Infinity lockers in its nationwide network of 30,000 pickup points and lockers. By the end of 2024, another 1,000 lockers will be installed.
“Deploying over 8,000 parcel lockers across Poland reflects our commitment to adapting to changing trends and understanding the needs of consumers, driven by the pace of modern life and the desire for convenience. We have further development plans for the DPD Pickup network in the coming months, and we plan to close the year with 9,000 lockers. In 2025, our DPD Pickup
network will continue to grow, meeting customer needs,” commented Łukasz Zembowicz, Sales and Marketing Director at DPD Poland, adding: “We want to offer our customers a wide range of
parcel drop-off and pickup options. Therefore, in addition to traditional home courier deliveries, we are always developing our DPD Pickup network to meet the growing demand for fast and
convenient logistics solutions, including parcel lockers.”
DPD Pickup lockers are accessed using the DPD Mobile app, which allows users to manage parcels easily, check their current status, browse the archive of sent and received parcels, contact the courier and find the nearest DPD Pickup points and lockers.
“DPD Poland has always been focused on providing a high level of service to their customers in this ever-changing e-commerce market characterised by growing needs and demands,” said Michał Czechowski, Managing Director at SwipBox Poland. “They have truly understood the idea behind the modular, battery-driven Bluetooth design and are utilising the benefits that this gives them in terms of being able to install the lockers anywhere. This helps DPD get close to their customers, providing them with 24/7 convenience in cities and rural areas alike.”
