Katrin Suder to become Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Post AG

The Supervisory Board of Deutsche Post AG intends to elect Katrin Suder as Chairwoman of the Company’s Supervisory Board following the Annual General Meeting on May 2, 2025. She is to take over the chairmanship of the supervisory board from Nikolaus von Bomhard, who has decided not to stand for re-election after two terms in office. The board had therefore discussed the succession at its ordinary Supervisory Board meeting.

Nikolaus von Bomhard was elected to the Supervisory Board in 2016 and has been Chairman since 2018. During his term of office, he was also Chairman of the Executive Committee, the Strategy and Sustainability Committee, the Nomination Committee and the Mediation Committee, as well as a member of the Personnel Committee. He has been involved in the design and successful implementation of DHL Group’s strategy in recent years, with which the Group has expanded its market position worldwide and structurally improved its profitability.

Katrin Suder, a member of the Supervisory Board and Advisory Board member with a focus on digital transformation and sustainable technologies, was elected to the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Post AG for the first time on May 4, 2023. The physicist and proven expert in artificial intelligence was a management consultant at McKinsey for several years and later State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Defense. She was also chairwoman of the Digital Council of the Federal Government.

The Supervisory Board has also voted to propose Ingrid Deltenre (64) and Lawrence Rosen (66) for re-election to the Supervisory Board. Ingrid Deltenre was elected to the Supervisory Board in 2016 and is a member of the Executive Committee, the Personnel Committee and the Nomination Committee. Lawrence Rosen is a member of the Finance and Audit Committee and has been a member of the Supervisory Board since 2020. The Annual General Meeting on May 2, 2025 is to be proposed to elect Ingrid Deltenre for a three-year term of office and Lawrence Rosen for a further four years.
