Croatian Post transformation: So far, 230 million euros have been invested in modern infrastructure

Last year, the Croatian Post delivered more than 17.5 million parcels to its customers across Croatia, which represents an increase of as much as 2.5 million parcels compared to 2023. The growing popularity of e-commerce and the increasing number of domestic and international brands cooperating with the Croatian Post have had the greatest impact on the continued growth of the parcel operations.

For the past eight years, the Croatian Post has been carrying out an intensive transformation with the aim of adapting to the parcel operations, which will become a key source of revenue for the postal and logistics industry in the coming years. So far, 230 million euros have been invested in modern infrastructure, digitalization, and salaries to create the prerequisites for new collaborations and continued growth in parcel operations.

The investment cycle will continue in 2025 with significant investments in additional development of capacity and logistics services, which include the acquisition of additional machines for automatic sorting of small parcels, expansion of storage capacity and completion of the installation of the Automated Storage & Retrieval System (AS/RS). The automatic storage system will become the backbone of the strategy of expanding the growing number of logistics services that Croatian Post offers to business users.

Numerous international e-commerce brands from Europe, North America and Asia deliver their products to customers in Croatia via Croatian Post, which has thus built the status of a regional delivery and logistics partner and, thanks to its infrastructure and capacities, has become key to the growth of e-commerce in Croatia.
