PHLPost: Justice Cruz’s experience and dedication are invaluable to the corporation

The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) has announced the re-election of Retired Justice Honorable Stephen Caperiña Cruz as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Justice Cruz officially took his oath before the Board of Directors and Postmaster General & CEO Luis D. Carlos on 04 February 2025, reaffirming his leadership in the corporation.

 The oath-taking ceremony was attended by esteemed members of the Board of Directors, including Hon. Ricardo R. Blancaflor, Hon. Noel V. Dacasin, Postmaster General & CEO Luis D. Carlos, and Hon. Ernesto O. Severino.

 Corporate Secretary Atty. Wendell V. Dimaculangan was also appointed as a member of the Board of Directors, while Hon. Maura Baghari-Regis was reappointed to the same position on 28 January.

 As Chairman, Justice Cruz is expected to continue his steadfast commitment to modernizing and improving the efficiency of postal services in the Philippines. Under his leadership, the corporation aims to enhance its digital transformation efforts, strengthen logistics and delivery services, and maintain its vital role in connecting Filipinos nationwide and beyond.

 Postmaster General & CEO Luis D. Carlos expressed his confidence in Chairman Cruz’s leadership, stating, “Justice Cruz’s experience and dedication are invaluable to the corporation. His leadership has been instrumental in driving PHLPost forward, and I look forward to working alongside him to ensure we provide efficient and modern postal services to the nation as we pursue good governance.”

 His extensive experience in public service and judicial expertise bring invaluable insight to the Board, ensuring the continued growth and sustainability of PHLPost amidst an evolving postal and courier industry.

 PHLPost remains dedicated to its mission of providing reliable and accessible postal services to the nation, and with the guidance of Chairman Cruz, the corporation is poised for greater innovations and service excellence.
