Amazon: We are always working to give customers more choice and more convenient options to have their groceries delivered

Amazon has partnered with delivery firm GoPuff to allow customers across the UK to get groceries and home essentials delivered at ultra-fast speeds. Amazon and GoPuff have partnered up to bring ultra-fast grocery delivery to the UK, with shoppers now able to receive everything from fresh food to cleaning supplies in under 60 minutes—and as fast as 15 minutes.

Thousands of products — including groceries, baby essentials, snacks, and alcohol — will be available to order 24/7 in most locations, with rapid delivery speeds made possible by GoPuff’s micro-fulfilment centres, strategically located near customers. Whether it’s your weekly grocery shop, ingredients, and wine for a dinner party, or family movie night essentials, it’s just a few clicks away and delivered in minutes.

The national rollout of Amazon’s partnership with GoPuff follows an initial launch in Birmingham and Salford in May. The service is now available in Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Cardiff, Chessington, Coventry, Derby, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham, Salford, Sheffield, and Swansea.

Russell Jones, Director of Grocery Partnerships at Amazon, said: “We are always working to give customers more choice and more convenient options to have their groceries delivered. Partnering with GoPuff and other grocery partners is an important way of offering Amazon customers their favourite stores and brands, ordered via our website. The new launch with GoPuff brings our customers access to a convenient and affordable way to access their everyday groceries.”

This GoPuff partnership builds on Amazon’s history of teaming up with UK retailers. Since first joining forces with Morrisons in 2015, Amazon has brought other household names like Iceland and Co-op into the fold.
