Pall-Ex strengthens senior team with new appointment

Pall-Ex, the UK’s palletised freight distribution network, has appointed Ashley Diamond as National Service Director, marking a strategic move to analyse, report and further improve the group’s service.

Ashley brings over a decade of experience in the logistics industry, including four years at Pall-Ex in key roles such as Regional Manager and Network Director for the Southwest. His new role reflects his extensive knowledge of the sector and proven track record within the business.

Ashley will be responsible for ensuring Pall-Ex Group continues to deliver  service levels across its network. He will lead the UK’s Service and Quality team to uphold and exceed service benchmarks.

Beginning his career as a warehouse operator, Ashley has first-hand experience across the entire supply chain. His hands-on approach and operational insight allow him to understand the business from multiple perspectives—an asset in driving both internal performance and external member support.

Ashley is committed to fostering collaboration across teams, promoting a clear vision of shared goals, high standards, and continuous improvement.

Michelle Naylor, UK Managing Director at Pall-Ex, commented: “We’re thrilled to have Ashley in this role. His ability to assess the business from different angles and identify opportunities to enhance and evolve our services is exactly what this position demands.

“He’s demonstrated a proactive, logical mindset throughout his time at Pall-Ex, making him the ideal person to lead our Service and Quality department and ensure we continue to exceed expectations.”

Speaking about his appointment, Ashley said: “I’m always focused on how things can be improved, and I get great satisfaction from making a real impact. I’m excited to step into this role and take on the challenges that come with such a dynamic industry.

“From the outset, I was drawn to Pall-Ex because of its unique member ownership model and ambitious growth plans—I always knew it was something I wanted to be part of.”
