Cleveron: we’re enabling retailers to transform routine fulfilment

Cleveron today announced a strategic collaboration with Ingrid, the delivery experience platform, to advance the Retail-Driven Open Network (RDON) across Europe.

The partnership combines Cleveron’s robotics, parcel lockers, and software suite with Ingrid’s Service Point solution to create an open, retailer-led network that makes out-of-home (OOH) delivery more convenient, scalable, and sustainable.

Proven Success with ICA in Sweden

Cleveron and Ingrid have worked together for over four years to shape and test the RDON concept with ICA, Sweden’s largest grocery retailer. More than 150 ICA stores are already operational with this offering.

This successful deployment demonstrates how retailers can leverage shared, interoperable infrastructure to deliver faster, more sustainable, and more reliable customer experiences—creating a proven model ready for replication across other markets.

Leadership Perspectives

“Retail-driven open networks represent a fundamental shift in how we think about last-mile delivery,” said Fredrik Fenberg, Head of Sales and Business Development at Cleveron. “By integrating automated pickup processes with seamless digital delivery experiences, we’re enabling retailers to transform routine fulfilment into exceptional customer service and meaningful revenue growth. We are thrilled to officially partner with Ingrid to take this model to the next level across Europe.”

Susanna Grill Erntell, CEO of Ingrid, added: “I’m delighted to announce this strategic partnership with Cleveron, which represents a significant milestone in our mission to transform delivery experiences across Europe. The success we’ve achieved together with ICA—with over 150 stores now operational—demonstrates the real potential of retailer-driven open networks to create value for all stakeholders.”

Unified Market Approach

The collaboration will see Cleveron and Ingrid adopt a joint go-to-market strategy, presenting integrated solutions to prospective clients and coordinating commercial activities across Europe.

Why RDON Matters

  • Customer choice and convenience: Dense, retailer-led pickup networks that place lockers and service points where people naturally go—homes, workplaces, and shopping destinations.

  • Operational resilience: Open architecture supporting multiple carriers and partners, eliminating single points of failure.

  • Environmental impact: Consolidated delivery routes and fewer failed deliveries, reducing emissions and urban congestion.

  • Revenue opportunity: Intelligent automation and software create new income streams for retailers while elevating customer satisfaction.
