Österreichische Post’s new branch offers customers “maximum flexibility”
Following a successful relocation, Österreichische Post AG has opened its branch at Amalienstraße 57 in Vienna’s 13th district. The modern, barrier-free branch now offers Hietzingen citizens numerous self-service services, two counters for personal support and a large self-service area to pick up or send their parcels around the clock.
The branch at the old location at Hietzinger Hauptstraße 80 was converted into a 24/7 self-service branch. The opening was held by Johanna Zinkl, District Mayor of Hietzing, and Barbara Potisk-Eibensteiner, Chief Financial Officer of Österreichische Post AG.
Johanna Zinkl, District Chairwoman, Hietzing: “Post offices are an important part of our local supply and make a significant contribution to the quality of life in the district. Personal contact is particularly important for the people of Hietzingen – and this is exactly what the modernly equipped branch in Amalienstraße will continue to offer in the future. A strong signal for the preservation of important infrastructure directly on site.”
Barbara Potisk-Eibensteiner, Chief Financial Officer of Österreichische Post AG: “After the move, our new branch in Hietzing presents itself as state-of-the-art and customer-friendly on 220 m². The attractive location offers maximum flexibility for our customers and at the same time enlivens the public space. True to our claim ‘Always there when you need us’, we combine innovative and personal services with urban quality of life – exactly where people live and work.”
