Bring Connects Europe and Scandinavia with a New Rail Route

Bring Intermodal is launching a new rail service between Malmö and Oslo via Jönköping, creating a direct and sustainable connection between Scandinavia and continental Europe.

The new line replaces the previous Älmhult–Torsvik–Oslo route and, starting in mid-December, will operate on the Malmö–Älmhult–Jönköping–Oslo route.

“The new train departs later from Jönköping, where many of our customers are located. This allows us to offer shorter lead times — with late-evening drop-offs in Jönköping and delivery to end customers in Oslo the following morning,” says Erik Roth, Executive Vice President International Logistics at Bring.

Starting in Malmö allows Bring to receive goods directly from Europe via both rail and ferry connections from Germany. This positions Bring uniquely as the only operator providing a direct intermodal link between Jönköping and continental Europe.
