Geopost: The peak period represents a critical time for our business

Geopost delivered 392 million parcels across Europe during the 2025 peak period, the year-end shopping season spanning from November to December. This represents a 9.1% increase in parcel volumes compared to 2024, exceeding expectations.

“The peak period represents a critical time for our business every year. This year’s strong performance is a testament to the hard work put in by all Geopost teams during this period and the trust placed in us by our customers and partners who value the robust and reliable European network we have built over time, offering affordable, sustainable and practical delivery options best suited to their needs”, said Yves Delmas, CEO of Geopost.

This performance reflects strong demand across the continent. Geopost’s integrated European network continued to absorb elevated volumes while maintaining high-quality service levels for its customers and partners during the busiest time of the year.

Several business units recorded particularly strong momentum during the period, including DPD Belgium (+30.3%), SEUR in Spain (+17.7%) and DPD Poland (+15.1%), reflecting the breadth of Geopost’s European footprint.

Out-of-home deliveries also participated in the success of this year’s peak period. In France, 24 million parcels were processed between November and December, with a peak recorded at 1.4 million parcels on the week of 8 to 14 December. In Europe, out-of-home volumes grew by +29% during that period versus November and December 2024.
