From AP WORLDSTREAM, February 15th, 2001
FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) _ Deutsche Post AG, Germany’s postal monopoly that is in the process of privatizing, will join the blue-chip DAX-30 index on the Frankfurt stock exchange in March, the stock exchange said Thursday. The postal service will replace retailer KarstadtQuelle AG, which will be included in another index for mid-capital stocks when the changes take effect March 19, the Deutsche Boerse said.
The exchange’s next meeting to review the indexes is May 8.
