La Poste offers global solution for online sales to companies

Martin Vial, the new head of French post office La Poste, believe sin the future of the internet. He announced yesterday the launch of Axepro, a complete solution for companies that sell online. Services offered include the design of secure online payment sites, as well as passing on orders to clients via a network of post offices covering the whole of France.

At present, 1 per cent of the parcels transported are from internet orders. As well as widening its range of services, La Poste has created Esipost, a subsidiary dedicated to the development and promotion of the group’s e-commerce services.
