Correos Spain has reported an increase in online sales. It registered 200,364 transactions up until the end of August, a growth of 32% year on year. Correos said it demonstrated how well received its online portfolio of services has been.

The biggest demand has been for bureaufax shipment – a rise of 67.2% in volume of shipments and 76% in invoicing growth.

Correos said its investment in online services and electronic transactions was proving to be a real success. The next initiative will be a new agreement with eBay, to tie in postage with purchases made online, simplifying the process for sellers.
