The Japan Pharmaceutical Roundtable’s ‘Success strategies for a globalised marketplace’ was held on 11 December by the Economist Group.
During the panel discussion, Andrew Mitchell, Vice President – Aerospace, Healthcare & Technology Asia Pacific, DHL Exel Supply Chain highlighted innovation opportunities in logistics for the healthcare industry in Japan citing a number of successful case studies in the UK and Australia involving the warehousing and transportation of pharmaceutical products.
DHL Supply Chain is operating Japan’s first 3PL-operated Clinical Trial Logistics Hub, and has just opened the second hub in Aoumi, Koto-ku in Tokyo in June 2008.
