DPD makes ordering parcel pick-ups even simpler

With the aid of a central service number DPD has now made it even easier for its customers to ship their parcels with its DPD CLASSIC services. The countrywide central call number 01805 373 500 is available to customers 24/7, enabling them to place orders for their parcels to be picked up whenever it’s convenient. In those areas which are already integrated customers can even call late at night – in many depots up to 23.59 hrs – and be sure that their parcels will be picked up by DPD the very next day.
The concept has already proved successful: at the pilot depot in Worms several thousand pick-up orders a month are already being received via the telephone service number, with about a third of all calls being placed outside of business hours (working days 7 to 18 hrs) or at weekends.
