Big Apple proves fruitful for DHL
The State of New York, Office of General Services, announced it has awarded DHL one of two five-year statewide contracts for international express shipping services.
The State of New York, Office of General Services, announced it has awarded DHL one of two five-year statewide contracts for international express shipping services.
All authorised users of the State of New York contract – including State agencies, colleges, and hospitals – will be able to leverage DHL’s fast, reliable door-to-door international express services to and from New York State and more than 220 countries and territories served by DHL.
All major express delivery bidders for this project, including DHL, were evaluated based on global coverage, transit times, delivery performance, local sales and operations representation, availability of dedicated customer service and price. DHL was determined to be one of the best values for international express delivery services in accordance with New York State procurement laws.
This is the first time International Express delivery services were offered through a New York State contract.
