Emirates Post to sell flydubai tickets

FlyDubai will make tickets for its flights available through the Emirates Post Office network across the UAE.

Flydubai will make tickets for its flights available through the Emirates Post Office network across the UAE.

Post offices will act as selling agents for the low-cost airline, offering booking facilities and accepting payment for reservations made online.

“Our aim is to change the way people travel by making the process simple, convenient and hassle-free,” said the airline’s CEO Ghaith Al Ghaith.

“People have different preferences and while some prefer to book via the Internet or call centre, other prefer to do so in person. Keeping this in mind, we decided to partner with Emirates Post, allowing us access to their widespread network across the Emirate and therefore bringing us closer to the community.”

Some 101 outlets make up the Emirates Post Office network.

Flydubai will begin commercial flights on 1 June when it takes off for Beirut from Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport.
