LEBANON: AGREEMENT ON EXPRESS MAIL SERVICES

Al-Mustaqbal newspaper reports on a press briefing on the provision of
express mail services in Lebanon, held in the middle of July 2000 at the office of the Minister of Communications. The event was attended by Minister of
Communications Issam Na’aman, Canadian Ambassador in Beirut Haig Sarafian, Dr.
Nasib Al-Husseini, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Liban Post, and
Liban Post Managing Director Fran?ois Dupildeau. Also present was Eng. Jamal
Mulu’i, Head of the Ministry of Communications’ Postal Services, who announced the signing of the agreement between Ministry officials and Liban Post.
