DHL will continue investing in Malaysia as its business grows, Business Times reported.

DHL Supply Chain Asia Pacific chief executive officer Paul Graham said Malaysia is significant, not only for its supply chain business, but also air express and forwarding activities. DHL has been in Malaysia for about five decades.

“We have been in the market for a long time since 1960s as one of the first investors into the logistics industry in Malaysia. Currently, we employ more than 4,000 people here in Malaysia.

“It is a significant business,” he said in an interview on the sidelines of the launch of its first-of-its kind $557,000 Asia-Pacific packaging centre in Shah Alam recently.

He said the company also sees quite a number of its customers choose Malaysia as a regional hub.
