Parcelforce loses out

Post Office subsidiary Parcelforce has lost out as a result of department store Liberty’s decision to pull out of its mail order and e-commerce activities. Retail Stores, which acquired Liberty last year, says withdrawing will enable the company to concentrate on its core retail business. A spokeswoman for Liberty says Parcelforce had handled all the home delivery work for mail order and e-commerce.
