TNT Chile plans growth

TNT Chile plans a 14% growth in 2001 and estimates the express mail and cargo market to have increased by 10% in 2000. TNT posted sales of US$21 million this financial year and plans sales reaching US $24 million in 2001 when it is to expand to several new locations. Air cargo transportation represents the largest cargo turnover, but package transportation represents 58% of its overall local business, it hopes this will reach 65% in 2001.
