Thirsty work

Parking regulations versus loading/unloading requirements in London, as seen by the Brewery Logistics Group. Mike Bracey, chairman of the Brewery Logistics Group (BLG), publishes a specially-crafted study exclusively for Post&Parcel, which examines parking regulations against loading and unloading requirements in the city of London.

The BLG covers all main brewers’ deliveries into London, made up of nine family and brewery operators.

The major concern in London is that of Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) issued under the premise of “illegal” parking, which are ongoing, and have become an unavoidable overhead to the brewing industry due to HSAW and the current parking regime.
