Dr. Rau joins GLS

GLS has appointed Dr. Dietmar Rau as director at the pan-European express courier service. Dr. Rau will be responsible for the GLS Germany subsidiary THE COURIER and the conceptual development of the European express activities throughout the GLS group.

Dr. Rau said: “GLS is well positioned in European standard shipping. With high-quality express services can grow the company – particularly in international traffic. Of course we need well-developed networks, but this is ultimately a question of technique. The decisive factors are integrated solutions to meet the demands of customers, and above all highly motivated employees.”
