FedEx hub remains world’s largest

FedEx’s Memphis International Airport has been labelled the world’s largest cargo airport for the 18th straight year. The gap between Memphis and Hong Kong International Airport has widened in 2009.

The airport reported landing 3,697,806 metric tons of cargo, up 0.4% from 3,696,190 tons in 2008.

Freight tonnage fell 7.7% at Hong Kong, to 3.35m tons from 3.627m tons.
