Schäfer joins Crisplant

Crisplant has appointed Klaus Schäfer as managing director. Ranjit Bhabra, who previously held the position, will stay with BEUMER Group, as a member of the Crisplant board of directors.

Schäfer brings a wealth of experience, with 24 years working in the industry, at Mannesmann Dematic, Siemens Dematic and Siemens.

In his most recent position of vice president airport sales at Siemens Infrastructure Logistics within the Siemens Mobility Division, Schäfer was responsible for the worldwide sales activities for Baggage Solutions business.

Speaking of his new appointment, Schäfer said: “I am delighted to be taking over from Bhabra, who had successfully fulfilled the role of transitioning Crisplant from FKI Logistex and overseeing the smooth acquisition from the BEUMER Group. The mission is clear and as an integral part of the BEUMER Group, I am proud to be building on the success so far and shall continue to lead Crisplant from strength to strength.”
