CitySprint relocates Southampton depot
UK-based CitySprint has relocated its Southampton ServiceCentre to larger premises in line with increasing demand in the area. The new ServiceCentre is located at the Solent Industrial Estate, Hedge End.
Mark Houghton, Southampton ServiceCentre manager explained: “CitySprint has had a presence in Southampton for over ten years and provides courier services to a broad range of local companies. Due to increasing demand we had outgrown the previous ServiceCentre and it was time for us to move. The new 3500sq ft ServiceCentre is much larger than the previous one and gives us greater warehousing capacity for our clients. In addition, we are now even closer to the city centre and to the motorway. We are confident that our new Southampton ServiceCentre will enable us to provide even greater service levels to our growing customer base”
As a result of the move, CitySprint will be looking for additional self-employed couriers in the area to join the team at the Southampton ServiceCentre.
