FedEx Express and Chunghwa Post sign a commercial alliance
FedEx Express and Chunghwa Post, Taiwan’s official postal service, announced their commercial alliance on FedEx International Priority service, which is now provided at 53 major post offices and will extend to 1,000 Chunghwa Post outlets starting July. “This alliance allows us to serve customers in more than 95% of postal delivery zones in Taiwan,” said Masamichi Ujiie, Regional Vice President of FedEx Express, North Pacific.
FedEx International Priority service is a time-definite, customs cleared, door-to-door delivery to more than 200 countries, generally in 1-3 business days with a Money Back Guarantee.
In the past, the service is only available at FedEx Authorized Ship Centers, which are usually located in Eslite Bookstores or Kodak Express outlets. A FedEx press release notes that exports of goods and services are expected to remain on a positive growth this year as Taiwan’s economy is estimated to grow between four to five percent.
