Office Depots renews Spring partnership

Office Depot, a supplier of office products, has renewed its deal with Spring Global Mail to be its sole supplier for European mail distribution. The multi-year agreement, worth millions per year, will see Spring managing the distribution of catalogues each year across eleven European countries.

Office Depot and Spring have been working closely together since 2006, with Spring initially distributing mail to only five destinations. In 2007, 5 additional countries were added.

“Improving the efficiency of suppliers across the supply chain is a key part of Office Depot’s strategy,” said René Crins, non-trade procurement director for Office Depot. “Spring has real expertise in the field of international mail and they apply their market knowledge to find the optimal postal distribution solutions in each of the European markets in which Office Depot operates. This, combined with the meticulous way Spring manages our mailing plans across the supply chain, has resulted in the extension of our current contract with Spring as our sole supplier in this critical area.”
