China Post Group and Acxiom sign cooperation agreement to expand China’s direct mail and database marketing business
Acxiom Corporation, a provider of marketing technology and services, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Post Group to jointly expand China’s direct mail business by leveraging database marketing services. Li Guohua, Vice President of China Post, John Adams, Acxiom Global COO and executive vice president, and executives from both parties attended the signing ceremony.
Li Guohua said, “Although the direct mail industry has grown over the past few years, it is still in a development stage. Because of the proactive promotion by China Post, the value of direct mail is being recognized by more and more companies and is being applied to such areas as product promotion, communication channels, customer relationship management and market research.” In the past five years, China Post has helped China’s coastal small to medium-sized enterprises develop markets and increase business through database building and direct mail programs. “Through the partnership with Acxiom, China Post expects to leverage advanced data analytics technology and marketing concepts, enhancing China Post’s full range of services to create “one-stop” capabilities. Most important is to provide China’s enterprises with high-quality direct mail service, to increase marketing precision and accelerate the efficient communication of business information,” Guohua concluded.
