GLS Ireland launches new express service

Parcel carrier GLS Ireland will launch its nationwide express delivery service tomorrow (1 September). GLS Ireland’s express parcel service can be used to transport items weighing up to 30 kg to their destination by 5pm the next working day. In many parts of the country a 12pm service is also offered.

Consignors and consignees can track their shipments online, whilst GLS Ireland said it can proactively inform a customer by e-mail or SMS of a consignment’s progress.

“We’re delighted that we’re now also able to offer our customers express parcel services with guaranteed on-time delivery via our reliable network”, said Swen Krueger, GLS’s region manager Germany East & Ireland.
