Yodel brand set for UK introduction
Yodel has begun the first phase of its brand roll-out programme in the UK. From October this year customers and the public will begin to see the Yodel brand out on the streets.
The brand roll-out comes after a decision to change the company name from Home Delivery Network (HDNL) in May.
The rebranding formed a part of a company transformation, which included the acquisition of DHL’s domestic parcel business in the UK, completed earlier this year.
More than 400 new Mercedes Sprinter vans will be introduced into the network driving out of 12 depots in the south of England and Northern Ireland.
Yodel has invested in a number of new Mercedes ECO-Start models to support Yodel’s environmental strategy of reducing overall fuel consumption and improving its carbon footprint.

Yodel, who claims to be the UK’s second-largest parcel delivery business, provides delivery services to businesses and consumers including Next day, 48 and 72 hour services as well as Saturday, Timed, Return and Exchange services, and recently introduced Insurance products.
