Crook promoted at DHL
DHL has announced that Roger Crook will become chief executive officer at DHL Express for the Asia/Pacific, Eastern Europe and Middle East regions (APEM) from January. Crook, who has been with DHL Express for 20 years and served as a member of DHL Express’ Global Management Board since 2007, is a proven veteran of the logistics industry.
During his career at DHL Express, he has held several different roles, including country manager, commercial director for global, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as well as COO for the company’s Global Customer Logistics Express group and the Global Customer Solutions division.
Currently, Crook is CEO of DHL Express for the Americas region, overseeing the management of all DHL Express business activities in close to 50 countries and territories in the Americas region, which now includes the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America, Caribbean and South America.
A successor for the CEO DHL Express Americas position will be announced in due course.
In his new position, Crook will further sharpen DHL Express’ focus on the international cross border shipping business in the APEM region by also concentrating on multinational corporations and small and medium enterprises.
Crook will continue leading DHL Express’ Global Sales and E-commerce teams.
