Self-service postal kiosks installed in Isle of Man

Isle of Man Post Office has installed self-service kiosks at its flagship branch in Douglas. The new kiosks, called ‘Pay & Post’, will help customers pay utility bills, make transactions, and choose the right postal rates for their mail.

Marty Quine, general manager retail network, Isle of Man Post Office, said: “Through these kiosks, customers now have a quicker, more efficient option that will see transactions completed in a matter of seconds.

“Not only is this a huge benefit to those people who like to manage their own transactions, it frees up counter staff to give more attention to customers who prefer to discuss their needs face-to-face.”

Operated by Escher Group’s Ripostekiosk software, the kiosks were installed after customers expressed a desire to use a self-service option.

Escher Group president and CEO Liam Church said: “The Isle of Man Post Office is a progressive organisation that understands that different customers want to transact in different ways. Escher’s Ripostekiosk software extends the post office’s services in a new way, enabling them to deliver multi-channel solutions in a rapidly changing retail environment.”
