Yodel launches eco van

Yodel has introduced its new environmental friendly van fleet to Swindon, UK. The new fleet of vans are powered by low-emission engines and to make them even more environmentally friendly, they are fitted with the innovative ECO-Start system.

The van’s engine will automatically cut out whenever the vehicle is stationary for longer than two seconds and start again as soon as the driver steps on the clutch.

Yodel marketing director Adam Smith said, “Swindon is one of the first areas in the country to receive our new vans. We have many valued customers here.

“The investment in our fleet is key to us maintaining a successful and reliable operation that our customers can depend upon.”
