Dolphin Music awards Yodel deal

UK-based Yodel has won the contract to deliver parcels for online music retailer Dolphin Music. The contract, signed in time for Christmas deliveries, offers Dolphin Music’s customers the option of a 24 or 48-hour delivery service and delivery on a Saturday.

Yodel will deliver over 135,000 parcels per annum for Dolphin Music.

Dolphin Music, finance and operations director, Peter Moss said: “Dolphin see Yodel as the perfect fit in our more customer centric focus. We, like Yodel, understand that next day delivery is just an option and today’s consumer demands their delivery at their convenience. Yodel’s offering was unique in that it offers well-timed delivery windows.”

Yodel chief executive Jonathan Smith said: “We are proud to be chosen as Dolphin Music’s delivery partner. Their customer focus matches our desire to provide a great performance. By listening to and understanding our customers, we take pride in providing a service that is responsive to their needs.”
