RPost to provide invest fund for e-post initiatives

RPost is to provide the first $1m investment fund dedicated to Posts that deploy RPost technology for their e-post initiatives. RPost is the inventor of Registered Email® services – with 30 patents covering third-party authentication of online mail delivery and content.

This fund will finance Posts in delivering a full set of modern e-post services and accelerate new revenues without impacting current budgets, the company said.

New products will include email proof of delivery, encryption, and electronic signature services built on RPost’s technology.

The company also announced that industry consultant Dennis Gilham (pictured) will join the RPost team to lead its postal sector business development.

Zafar Khan, CEO of RPost, said: “We are providing postal services looking to benefit from our experience in the e-post sector the opportunity to finance and deploy a modern suite of e-post services and to work with a business leader and innovator dedicated to their success.”

RPost’s E-Post Innovation Investment Fund, initially funded at $1m and expandable, will finance a compliant postal service e-product technology, preparation and market launch through to initial revenue generation.

“In each country we see postal customers looking to convert high value notices to electronic,” said Gilham. “RPost technology is the catalyst for posts to generate new revenues as the marketplace continues to move from paper, mail, courier, fax and imaging to electronic. I am pleased to return to the postal sector with the best technology and financial resources to help those Posts that I have worked with over the years to innovate and generate new revenues in the electronic product arena.”

“This new E-Post Innovation Investment Fund levels the playing field for the smaller postal delivery services,” added Khan.
