PosTech 2011 only one week away
Only a week remains before industry leaders descend upon Dubai for PosTech 2011 – the post and parcel sectors’ dedicated technology event. The conference and exhibition – operating under the banner of ‘New Technology: New Post’ – will take place on 14-16 March at The Hyatt Regency Hotel.
As event host, Emirates Post will welcome leading names from across the world.
Saudi Post will be in full attendance as event partner, whilst a who’s who of premier technology companies have thrown their weight behind the event as sponsors – including Farsi GEO Tech, Deloitte, Hewlett Packard, Intermec, and Pitney Bowes. Accu-Sort Systems will also be supporting the event.
The opportunity to meet and network with this vast array of industry specialists cannot be missed.
The two-day conference itself will examine the future of the post and parcel industry.
Key topics will include operating in the new communications environment, exploring the challenges, and a perspective from global technology companies. Furthermore, PosTech 2011 will study the multi-channel service supplier, and technology in the operations value chain.
The event has been organised by Triangle Management Services. Chief executive Neil Jackson said: “Following the huge success of this event in Egypt and Saudi, PosTech has become celebrated as the essential forum to examine how technology is shaping the future of the post and parcel industry.
“As traditional business models are forced to change, PosTech 2011 looks at the wider role of posts in society and how organisations can work collaboratively to bring new services to developed and developing worldwide communities.
“With this year’s conference title of ‘New Technology: New Post’ PosTech is the only event dedicated to exploring how to turn the vision of a technology-driven post into a reality.”
Speakers at the event include: Ibrahim Bin Karam, commercial chief officer, Emirates Post; Dr Muhammad Benten, president and CEO, Saudi Post; and Khalil Daoud, chairman of the board and managing director, LibanPost.
Furthermore, Peter Somers, CEO of bpost international; and Ales Hauc, director general, Slovenia Post, will take to the stage.
PosTech 2011 also boasts an impressive list of conference chairman, including Botond Szebeny, secretary general, PostEurop; Walter Trezek, managing director, Document Exchange Network; and Dirk Palder, vice president, Capgemini Deutschland.
As well as stimulating content, PosTech 2011 also offers fantastic networking opportunities including a cocktail reception, lunches, and a dinner hosted by Emirates Post.
