S. Africa Formally Ends Relationship with NZPost

South Africa said on Tuesday it would sign a termination agreement with New Zealand Post Office by the end of the week, formalising the premature end of a three-year consultancy agreement. Communications Minister Ivy Matsepe-Casaburri told reporters the South African Post Office had negotiated a settlement with New Zealand Post’s international consultancy division, now called Transend Worldwide Ltd. She said the terms of the settlement would be announced by the South African Post Office this week. ‘The strategic management partnership with the New Zealand Post International has been terminated on the basis of the Cabinet recommendation. The process will be finalised by the end of this week,’ she said.
