FedEx enhances early morning service across Asia

FedEx Express has launched FedEx International First to boost its portfolio in Asia. The service is described as “a time-definite, customs-cleared, door-to-door service that will deliver shipments by 10am on the same day of delivery commitment to Eastern and Southern China, and Singapore”.

Customers using the service in major cities in eastern and southern China can now receive shipments from the US, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, and major countries in Europe and Latin America by 10am.

Furthermore, customers in Singapore can receive shipments from the US, Canada and Latin America by 10am; whilst in Hong Kong, Japan and Taiwan users can enjoy similar service benefits for their outbound shipment to the US (delivery by 8am) and eastern and southern China (delivery by 10am).

David L. Cunningham Jr., president, Asia Pacific, FedEx Express, said: “FedEx takes pride in continuous innovation, and FedEx International First is another service offering that puts our hallmark reliability to work in a new way for our customers.

“We’re confident our early morning deliveries will help customers process their extra-urgent shipments in time for the business day.”

In the Asia Pacific region, FedEx International First is already available for export shipments to the US from Hong Kong, Japan, Macau and Taiwan, and to China from Hong Kong, Japan and Taiwan.
