Qureshi promoted at TNT Express Middle East

TNT Express Middle East has announced the appointment of Sajeel Qureshi as director of global account management. With 15 years of experience in the logistics industry, Qureshi is not new to the TNT Express family. He started his career with TNT in 1996 where he joined the automotive logistics business unit in the UK and moved his way up by through various roles including operations, business development, contract management and account management in Amsterdam, Middle East and Africa.

For the last four years, he has held the position of regional account manager for global accounts within the Middle East and brings with him a wealth of regional account successes and customer facing experience.

In his new role, Qureshi will lead and coordinate the regional opportunities in the Middle East and Africa and align these operating units to the central structure.

“I am really excited to take this new challenging role and look forward to working with the TNT Express Middle East and Africa team in helping the business to continue to grow in the region”, said Qureshi.

“Sajeel’s appointment complements our continuing efforts to serve our customers as the leader in high-performance logistics solutions,” added Bryan Moulds, managing director for TNT Express Middle East.

Earlier this week, Post&Parcel reported that TNT Express has expanded its air operations in Iraq in a bid to support rapidly increasing commercial activities of its key clients.

The company will now operate six flights per week in the country, which will provide a “cost and time effective solution besides conventional sea and air freight services”.
