Fiat renews logistics contract with TNT Logistics

TNT Logistics and Fiat SpA said they have renewed their
contract for packaging, storage and spare parts distribution to
dealers in Italy and warehouses in Europe for a further five years.
Under the terms of the agreement, TNT Logistics will receive 150 mln
eur per year for the next five years, the companies said in a joint
statement.
The partnership between the two companies began in 1994 with the
outsourcing to TNT Logistics of the Fiat Spare Parts logistics.
TNT Logistics also manages for Fiat Auto the inbound logistics
operations feeding the assembly lines of the northern Italian
facilities and manages the materials flow to and from South America
for the parts needed for local production.
